Biography

Kendra Kessel has spent the past decade changing lives with her innovative fitness and wellness programs. Her focus on creating total health and wellness for the mind and body has attracted a diverse clientele, including some of the world’s biggest celebrities and athletes.

As a former competitive athlete, Kendra’s interest in health and fitness began when she was just a child. During college her studies continued and her knowledge and dedication landed her a job as Fitness Supervisor at the University of Arizona’s Recreational Center. It was there she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education, graduating Magna Cum Laude. Additionally, she became a certified personal trainer through the American Counsel on Exercise.
Upon graduation, Kendra quickly established a strong reputation as a fitness expert in Arizona. She was a contributor for several fitness newsletters, appeared on health websites, DVD’s, and local news stations as a fitness expert, and worked as a personal fitness trainer.

Even though her focus was on fitness and nutrition, her own ailments soon took her down a new path. After years of dealing with chronic injuries and stress, Kendra began to explore other areas of wellness that would help combat these things, and promote healing of the body. This exploration led to intensive research on relaxation techniques, stress management, alternative healing therapies, and massage therapy, through classes and private instruction. What Kendra realized was that all of these health components were just as necessary as exercise and diet.

Today Kendra lives in Los Angeles where her expertise has landed her on national television, fitness info-commercials, and fitness DVD’s. Additionally, her wellness advice has been featured in several national magazines including Muscle and Fitness Hers, Oxygen Magazine, Star Magazine, and several major city newspapers. In 2010 she created a fitness DVD series (F3—Fun, Fast, Fitness for Kids) to help aid in stopping the childhood obesity epidemic.
